1,133 New Confirmed Cases Reported against 1,582 Recoveries in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health underscored here today that taking the second dose of the vaccine would add greater immunity and be better for the body, as it protects against mutations that may emerge into the pandemic, drawing attention that the second dose shall be taken following as many as 42-day, after taking the first dose, which does not lose its effectiveness even if the period is to be surpassed.

On the other hand, the ministry announced detecting as many 1,133 new confirmed cases of infection against 1,582 recoveries, while the active cases rose to 11,250, including 1,378 in critical conditions, in the last 24-hour across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Overall infections in the Kingdom rose to 498,906 against a toll of 479,709 recoveries, however the fatalities tally reached 7,947, as 14 new deaths were reported.
