Interior and Municipalities Minister, Nouhad Machnouk, on Friday underlined the impartiality of state security apparatuses during the impending parliamentary elections, saying these apparatuses stand at equal distance from all.
"There is a serious international and local monitoring of elections," Minister Machnouk said during presiding over a meeting of Mount Lebanon Security sub-Council sub-committee, at the office of Governor Mohammed al-Makkawi, at Baabda Serail.
Machnouk stressed maintaining security, stability and order during the entire electoral process.
"The path of the elections is a real and effective partner for the advancement of the state," he corroborated, stressing that international efforts in support of Lebanon shall not be wasted.
