3 Peshmerga Fighters Freed From Daesh

Baghdad, The PUK's counterterrorism forces have announced the release of three prisoners, from the Peshmerga forces, were captured by Daesh organization.

PUK media quoted Bolat Sheikh Janki, the commander of the anti-terrorist forces, as saying that "For 20 days, the forces have been trying to carry out an operation to release three captured Peshmerga fighters in the hands of Daesh organization," explaining that "The plan was postponed more than once to preserve the safety of these prisoners."

He added that the liberation of the prisoners was successfully carried out on Sunday in areas belonging to (Debs district), pointing out that "they are now safe in the Kurdistan region".
