BAGHDAD, Head of the National Dialogue Front, Saleh al-Mutlaq, discussed with the Japanese Ambassador in Baghdad Fumio Iwai, the political, economic and humanitarian files.
Al-Mutlaq called during the meeting Tokyo to provide assistance to Iraq, especially the affected provinces, which need to reconstruction and rehabilitation of infrastructure and service, according to a statement by his office.
He pointed out that Iraq is at a crossroads, whether it be or not, stressing that this depends on several factors, including the good selection of national and fair figures, and away from sectarian, and ethnic, and accelerate the isolation of corrupt who seized powers and squandered the wealth of the country.
For his part, the Japanese Ambassador expressed his hope for the success of the electoral process and the birth of an Iraqi government that satisfies the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
