Mohsen al-Saadoun: Sharing the post of the President and Parliament between Kurds and Sunnis depends on the number of parliamentary seats and agreement between them

BAGHDAD - Head of the Parliamentary Legal Committee MP for the Kurdistan Alliance Mohsen al-Saadoun said that the sharing of the post of the President and Parliament between the Kurds and Sunnis depends on the number of parliamentary seats and agreement between them.

He explained in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / that the recent election law St. Lego 1.7 amended, contained the same previous mistakes of electoral laws, which contribute to help the large blocs, but it is possible to make changes in the number of seats for those blocks to reduce the number of seats, because of the existence of many indicators to worsen the parliamentary, institutional performance and services provided to citizens, in light of the development of the economic situation of the country in general and the citizen in particular.

"The constitution does not specify the component that holds the three Presidential posts, but these positions are determined by the number of Parliamentary seats for each component, bloc and coalition, and the consensus among them."
