Sulaymaniyah, The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) held a meeting to discuss the results of the elections, and the start of dialogues with political parties to form the next federal government.
Karwan Yarwis, the media official in the Political Bureau of the PUK said in a press statement that the Political Bureau of the PUK held a meeting under the supervision of Kosrat Rasool, Deputy Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, in the presence of the majority members of the Political Bureau, explaining that the meeting discussed the post-announcement of the final results of the elections by The Independent High Electoral Commission, and the unity of the ranks of the Kurdish parties to start dialogue with other political parties in Iraq on the formation of the next federal government.
Yarwis pointed out that the Political Bureau stressed the need to unite the row and the Kurdish position, pointing out that this is one of the letters of the Office to all political parties in Kurdistan, so as to go to Baghdad with a strong academic team to defend the rights of the Kurdistan region and its people.
It should be noted that the list of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan got eighteen seats in the Iraqi parliament, according to the results announced by the Independent High Electoral Commission./ End
