BAGHDAD, The Russian Defense Ministry announced the killing of four Russian Military Advisers and wounding three others in the province of Deir al-Zour as a result of targeting them by terrorist groups.
"The Russian military advisers were present at a Syrian army point while they were being targeted by the militants," a Ministry statement said. "The Syrian army responded to the attack and managed to kill /43/ militants and destroy 6 cars equipped with heavy weapons."
"Two advisers died immediately and five others were wounded and immediately taken to the military hospital. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, two others died from their injuries," he said.
