Under the patronage of Caretaker Information Minister, Melhem Riachy, Zouk Mikael International Festival Committee on Tuesday held a press conference at the Warwick Palm Beach Hotel in Beirut's Ain Mreisseh, to announce the launch of "Zouk Mikael International Festival 2018."
The Conference was attended by Minister Riachy's Representative, his Advisor Emile Geagea, President of the Zouk Mikael International Festival, Zalfa Bueiz, Zouk Mikael Municipality head, Elias Baino, and Artist Mike Massey.
Speaking at the press conference, Boueiz recapped the Festival's varied program which includes four remarkable musical concerts to be performed by highly acclaimed artists.
Representing Caretaker Minister Riachy at the launch ceremony, his Advior Elie Geagea deemed the Zouk Mikael International Festival as "one of the founding festivals" in Lebanon, heaping praise on the tireless and vigorous efforts by Boueiz in constantly securing the success of the Festival.
Geagea hoped that the Cabinet formation would be realized soon in a bid to achieve political stability.
