Islamabad, Pakistan has warned of the threat being posed by the Houthi Coupist Militias in Yemen to the security of the region, describing the repeated attacks by these militias against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a threat to the Muslim world.
Pakistan expressed its concern over the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, urging all parties to return to the negotiating table, explaining that only a political settlement would achieve a lasting peace in that country.
This made by the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Shafqat Jaleel during his participation in the meeting of ministers of media of Coalition to support the legitimacy in Yemen, held yesterday in Jeddah, under the chairmanship of Minister of Media Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad and the participation of media ministers and officials in the coalition countries.
According to Pakistani official News Agency, Pakistan supports all peace efforts in Yemen and looks forward to an early cessation of hostility acts to restore peace and stability there and starting of negotiations between rival factions to restore peace in Yemen through the legitimate government of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.
