MP Shamel Roukoz on Thursday maintained that there is no breakthrough in the government formation, adding that all sides are trading accusations of the process's obstruction.
"All parties are accusing each other of hindering the formation process," the lawmaker told an interview with Voice of Lebanon radio station.
"The legislative elections' results have given the 'Strong Lebanon' bloc a reason to be represented in the Mount district," he said, adding that appointing a Christian minister instead of a Druze is not on the table for the time being. "However, if the concerned sides wish to facilitate the lineup formation, then all solutions are possible," he stressed.
On the relations with Syria, Roukoz highlighted the necessity to determine the ties with Damascus and to preserve the interests of the Lebanese.
