BAGHDAD, Russian security services arrested members of a cell that espouses the idea of Daesh recruiting the region's sons to terrorists in the northern city of Norilsk.
"Members of the group encouraged citizens to go to areas of armed conflict, to participate in fighting among terrorist groups, and publicly promoted acts of terrorism," the Krasnoyarsk region's federal security service said in a statement.
"We have received information about the intention of the cell elements to join themselves to one of the terrorist organizations active in the territory of Syria and Afghanistan."
He pointed out "the confiscation of the detainees' means of communication in which they coordinated their activities, in addition to extremist books and bank cards, which were used to transfer money to Daesh."
