Caretaker Foreign Minister, Gebran Bassil, on Monday started a tour in a number of Arab states to invite their leaders to participate in the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, hosted by Lebanon in upcoming January.
Bassil first landed in Kuwait, where he held with Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah an "excellent and fraternal meeting."
The Minister conveyed President Michel Aoun's greetings to the Kuwaiti Emir, who promised to be amongst the first attendees in the summit.
The pair also discussed an array of current affairs, in addition to the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Kuwait, highlighting the principle of dissociation policy.
