BAGHDAD, Cooperation between Iraq and the international coalition will continue after the formation of the new government in Baghdad, as now, coalition spokesman Colonel Sean Ryan said Saturday.
Colonel Ryan said in a press statement "coordination with Baghdad to fight Daesh organization in a number of Iraqi provinces will continue after the formation of the new government."
He added "the coalition is in Baghdad at the invitation of the Iraqi government, and we hope to be able to stay there to provide assistance, especially after the formation of the new government," noting that "the main objective of the coalition is to get rid of terrorists in Iraq."
The colonel said that "Daesh armed terrorists have launched several armed attacks in recent times in several Iraqi provinces, including Kirkuk."
