BAGHDAD 17 tanks from NATO member states participated in exercises near the Russian border.
Fighting groups from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland participated in the "Tomahawk Iron" exercise in the Adazi camp near the Russian border.
According to Defense Blog, which quoted NATO official sources, as saying that the tanks were trained on firepower, and showed interoperability, in addition, participants in the exercises fired firearms.
The "Tomahawk Iron" maneuvers included 17 tanks, including the modern "Abrams".
