Baquba, The Diyala Police Command announced the killing of an official responsible of weapons store for Daesh organization and two of his companions in a qualitative operation northeast of Baquba.
"A combat force, based on precise intelligence, carried out an incursion deep into dozens of kilometers in the Hamrin basin northeast of Baquba," Diyala Police Chief Major General Faisal al-Abadi told the NINA news agency.
He added that "the incursion continued for hours resulted in the killing of an official in charge of weapons of Daesh organization and two of his companions during the clash with the terrorists," pointing out that "the process, which was called (falcon), found a cache containing hundreds of light weapons and a quantity of explosives."
He stressed that "the organization of Daesh lost many of its prominent leaders during the specific operations carried out by the security forces."
