Baghdad, An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale hit the outskirts of the town of Hajdak in the southeast Iranian province of Kerman on Sunday morning.
"The earthquake occurred at 8:14 pm (2545 GMT) Sunday morning (4:15 pm GMT)," said the seismological center of Tehran's Geophysical Institution.
"The tremor occurred at the confluence of the northern latitudes 30.79 and the eastern length 56.89 degrees."
Iran's monitoring center gave no details of the casualties or not.
