Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Chairs Cabinet’s Session 2 Riyadh

The Cabinet expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist acts which took place in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Somalia, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries. The Cabinet offered condolences to the families of the victims and to the governments and peoples of the respective countries, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, said that the meeting issued the following decisions:

First:

The Cabinet authorized the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture or his deputy to discuss and sign with Egyptian side a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of water resources, irrigation and seawage water treatment between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Egypt, and submit the final version to complete legal procedures.

Second:

The Cabinet authorized the Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources or his deputy to discuss and sign with Spanish side a draft agreement in the field of coding between the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Spain, and submit the final version to complete legal procedures.

Third:

The Cabinet approved an agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey in the field of air transport services.
