Nouakchott, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, arrived today in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
At Nouakchott airport, he was received by H.E. Mohammed Ould Abdulaziz, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania; Yahya Ould Hadamain, Minister of State in charge of Presidential Affairs; Mohammed Ould Al-Sheikh Sidya, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic; Mahi Ould Hamid, Governor of western Nouakchott State; Fatima Abdulmalik, Chairwoman of the Regional Council for Nouakchott State; ministers, senior army and security commanders; and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Mauritania.
HRH the Crown Prince was accorded official warm reception, including red carpet welcome, two countries national anthems playing; and guard of honor review.
Following a short recess at the airport, the Mauritanian President escorted the Crown Prince in an official motorcade to the presidential palace in capital Nouakchott.
The Crown Prince was accompanied by Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Consultant at the Royal Court; Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Dr. Majid Al-Gasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment; Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, Minister of Media; Khalid Al-Humaidan, Chief of General Intelligence; and senior protocol officials.
