Baghdad, The Leader of the Construction Alliance, Secretary General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri stressed that "Faleh Al-Fayyadh is the candidate of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to the Interior and not the Construction block, and we are not determined to nominate him.
"We have agreed to nominate 14 ministers with the Saeron bloc and postpone the remaining ministries," Amiri said in a televised statement. "The lack of voting on some ministries has passed through previous governments."
He pointed out that "Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi put us in front of two options either gave him the freedom to choose the ministerial cabin or the nomination of several people," noting that "Faleh al-Fayadh is Abdul Mahdi candidate for the Ministry of the Interior, and we reject the claim that he is nominated by foreign countries to implement agendas inside Iraq.
He stressed: "We are not insisting on the nomination of Faleh al-Fayadh for the internal portfolio, and we reject the accusations among the political blocs on his candidacy."
Al-Amiri stressed that "the selection of Abdul-Mahdi as Prime Minister was an Iraqi decision with distinction," adding that without political stability it is difficult to invest in Iraq, and we hope to make every effort to achieve stability and attract investment companies and find jobs. Today's choice is only to provide services and to end the armies of the unemployed, because this is as important as eliminating Daesh. "
