Bukhari to Lebanese Labor and Investment Council in Saudi Arabia: Ban on Saudis visits to Lebanon to be lifted upon government formation

The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, received a delegation from the Lebanese Labor and Investment Council in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by Mohammed Shaheen, in the presence of the Lebanese Ambassador to the Kingdom Fawzi Kabara.

During the visit, the two sides reviewed relations between the two countries and tackled the ongoing preparations for the Arab Economic Summit to be held in Beirut in January.

Ambassador Bukhari said that "the ban on visits of Saudi citizens to Lebanon will be lifted immediately after the formation of the Lebanese government."

"We are working to institutionalize the Lebanese-Saudi relations in various fields," Bukhari added, stressing that "the Kingdom's foreign policy regarding Lebanon has been based on the sovereignty, security and stability of Lebanon since its establishment."
