The Palestine Embassy held this Tuesday a reception at the MEA training and conference center at the International Rafic Hariri Airport in Beirut, on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the outbreak of the Palestinian revolution.
The reception took place in the presence of the Representative of the President of the Republic, Caretaker Energy and Water Minister, Cesar Abi Khalil, Representative of the House Speaker, deputy Ali Khreiss, and the Representative of the Prime Minister-designate, former minister Hassan Mneimneh.
In his delivered word, the ambassador of Palestine, Ashraf Dabbour, said that a healthy and powerful Lebanon is strength for Palestine and its cause, bringing to attention that the Palestinians are guests of Lebanon pending their return to their homeland.
He called for strengthening bilateral relations in the interest of Lebanon and Palestine, saying that the Palestinian people are committed to respecting the Lebanese laws and regulations, as well as to consolidating security and stability of Lebanon.
Ambassador Dabbour stressed that the Palestinian camps support the right of return and reject all suspicious plans aiming to undermine such a legitimate right.
The Ambassador hailed Lebanon's honorable positions towards the Palestinian cause and refugees in Lebanon.
