The National News Agency publishes a general review of the biography of State Minister for Women Affairs Violette Khairallah Safadi: "
Violette Khairallah Safadi worked in both Non-Profit Organizations and Private corporations. Her passion to make the world a better place led her to pursue her dream in Philanthropy. She is married to the former Minister of Finance in Lebanon H.E. Mohamad Safadi, who is her continuous support. She is also a proud mother of two boys. Her family remains a priority in her life.
Violette Khairallah Safadi worked as a presenter at the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) and then as a news anchor and political host at Murr Television (MTV).
Violette Khairallah Safadi assumed various consultancy positions at the Ministry of Economy and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance. She is also committed to improve the livelihood of other less privileged, through two main foundations, "Safadi Cultural Foundation" where she serves as President and "Safadi Foundation" where she serves as Vice President.
These foundations focus on social development, women empowerment and education. In conjunction, she worked on expanding the cultural events of "Safadi Cultural Center" that she is currently heading, by organizing several activities targeting groups of different age, gender and ethnicity.
Her endless quest for Education and Knowledge motivated her to pursue an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership, and a master's degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy.
Also, enriched by her cultural drive and feminism, she became a trainer on Business Etiquette certified by the British School of Etiquette. She believes that attitude and Emotional Intelligence are key factors that enable people to achieve the extra milestone in a meaningful life.
Her professional affiliations include serving as:
- Member of the National Commission of Lebanese Women (NCLW) established by the Council of Ministers
- Member of Board of Trustees at Notre Dame University
- Vice President of the Autism Awareness Association in Lebanon
- Member of the Women Leadership Board of Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School."
