The tripartite summit begins among the leaders of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia

Baghdad, The Egyptian -Sudanese - Ethiopian summit began in Addis Ababa this morning among Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abe Ahmed began in Ethiopian Capital Addis Ababa today.

According to the Egyptian media, "the tripartite summit, which will be held at the headquarters of the Prime Minister in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, will discuss the files of joint cooperation, as well as the challenges facing the continent, in the light of Egyptian Presidency of the African Union."

The tripartite summit will also discuss the developments of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam file.

The 32nd Ordinary Summit of African Heads of State and Government will be held later Sunday in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, in the presence of representatives of the 55 member states of the African Union (AU).

The Summit took the theme "Refugees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons: Towards Permanent Solutions for Forced Displacement in Africa".
