Hakim: Iraq’s Foreign Policy Is Based On Principle Of Openness To Neighboring Countries And The World And Stay Away From Axis Of Conflict

Baghdad, Iraq stressed that the pillars of its foreign policy are based on the principle of openness to neighboring countries and the world and away from the axis of conflict.

A Foreign Ministry statement said that foreign minister, Mohamed Ali al-Hakim met Adam Kensinger, a member of the US Congress and a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, the chairman of the Committee of Friends of Iraq in the US Congress .

The minister stressed that the pillars of Iraqi foreign policy are based on the principle of openness to neighboring countries and the world, and stay away from the axis of conflict, explaining that: Iraq today is a place for meeting, not conflict, and that work is continuing to achieve the aspirations of the people.

For his part, the US official said that the United States of America is working with Iraq as a partner, especially within the framework of the International Alliance, and the training it includes the Iraqi forces, and logistical support.
