Minister of Agriculture, Hassan Al Lakkis, on Wednesday received in his office at the ministry the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Lebanon, Hamad Saeed Al-Shamsi, who came on a courtesy visit.
Talks reportedly touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially at the agricultural level.
Minister Lakkis and Ambassador Shamsi also tackled the issue of land transport for Lebanese agricultural products and facilitating visa issuance for drivers.
Shamsi expressed his country's readiness to support the development of the agricultural sector, especially the delivery of agricultural regulations to rural and remote villages.
