Arab Interior Ministers Council begins its work sessions in Tunisia

The Arab Interior Ministers Council opened Sunday its 36th Conference work sessions in the Tunisian capital.

During the inaugural session, conferees paid tribute to Lebanese Interior and Municipalities Minister, Raya El-Hasan, for being the first woman to receive the Interior Ministry's portfolio in the Arab world.

El-Hassan, who is partaking in the Conference at the head of a senior Lebanese security delegation, will focus in her address on "Lebanon's neutrality from regional axes and the need to pursue coordination among various Arab intelligence agencies to combat terrorism, drugs and interdictions, while calling for permanent solidarity in order to prevent risks."
