Baabda Palace witnessed on Monday a series of meetings which touched on ministerial, economic, and social affairs.
Public Works and Transportation Minister, Youssef Fenianos, had an audience with the President over his Ministry's projects in all the Lebanese regions and discussed with him the latest on transport policies in Lebanon, as well as vacancies in key positions in the Ministry.
Minister Fenianous lauded the President's close follow-up on the projects that were being implemented and his willingness to provide all the necessary support to complete them.
Separately, President Aoun and former Minister Raed Khoury broached the economic situation in the country, especially following up on the economic development plan set by the previous government � based on a report prepared by McKinsey, in cooperation with relevant Lebanese ministries, departments, and agencies.
On the judicial level, Aoun received General Prosecutor, Judge Samir Hammoud, and discussed with him a number of judicial affairs and the work of the public prosecution.
Also during the day, Aoun contacted by phone, Ethiopian President, Sahle-Work Zewde, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, and expressed condolences on the victims of the Ethiopian plane that crashed yesterday.
