Baghdad, Iraqi delegation headed by Hassan Karim al-Kaabi discussed with the Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives Habib al-Maliki support Iraq's proposal to fight extremist thought in all its forms.
A statement to the Information Office of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said, "Al-Kaabi and his accompanying delegation met in Rabat on the sidelines of the Conference of the Union of Councils of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Habib al-Maliki, Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives and a number of Arab and Islamic parliamentarians, and during the meeting with the Moroccan delegation, they exchanged talk about the importance Support Iraq's proposal to fight extremist ideology in all its forms, while Maliki expressed his support for Iraq and his desire to continue exchanging visits to increase the volume of cooperation and coordination in the legislative, economic, cultural and scientific aspects.
On the sidelines of the conference, Al-Kaabi met with Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzoug Al-Ghanim, Mauritanian National Assembly Speaker OuldBaye and AmalBint Abdullah Al Qubaisi, President of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, inviting them to visit Baghdad as soon as possible.
It was agreed during these meetings to unite the speech within the dome of the conference on fighting extremism in all its forms and types and urged heads of state to take serious steps in this direction.
The conference also witnessed a number of meetings, including the meeting with the Egyptian and Lebanese delegations, on mechanisms for the formation and development of the Parliamentary Development Institute to be developed soon by the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
