House Speaker, Nabih Berri, congratulated Saturday members of the "Robot Club" of Amal Educational Institutions, after winning first place in the 9th Robotics Competition held at the Lebanese American University - Byblos Campus under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.
He stressed on "excelling in sciences as we have excelled in patriotism and resistance," calling for "more achievements and successes."
Berri's words came during his meeting today with Amal Educational Institutions Head, Rida Saadeh, and a delegation of board members and participants who won the competition and qualified to represent Lebanon in the world championship to be held in the United States in April and in Turkey in May, as well as in the international championship that will be hosted by Lebanon in June.
The Speaker stressed "the importance of developing this learning," pointing out that "science and scientific and technical skills should be accorded more care and attention at all levels."
"This achievement is a source of pride and a shining landmark in the educational march of Amal's Institutions," emphasized Berri, vowing to "continue to strengthen and expand these institutions."
