Following the official welcome ceremonies including the two nations' anthems, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with his hosts, including the Prime Minister Yousef Al-Shahed and ministers of the government of Tunisia while the President of Tunisia shook hands with princes, ministers and members of the official delegation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The monarch was also received by the Saudi ambassador to Tunisia Mohammed bin Mahmoud Al-Ali and other embassy officials.
Then, the Monarch, escorted by the President, made his way in an official motorcade to his guest residence.
The King was accompanied by Prince Khalid bin Fahd bin Khalid; Prince Mansour bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Talal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin Saud bin Mohammed; Prince Khalid bin Turki bin Abdulaziz; Prince Dr. Husam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Baha Region; Prince D. Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Saud bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Consultant at the Royal Court; Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdul-Elah bin Abdulaziz; and Prince Rakan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The official accompanying delegation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also included Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Majed Al-Gasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment; Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance; and Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah, Minister of Media, and senior protocol officials.
