Saudi Deputy Minister of Education takes part in the 1st Int’l Forum on Higher Education, opened by President Elsisi

Cairo, President Abdulfattah Elsisi of Egypt, opened in Cairo today the 1st International Forum on Higher Education and Scientific Research being held under the theme "Between Present and Future" with the participation of more than 300 dignitaries including senior scientists, presidents of international universities, Arab and foreign deputy education ministers and education experts from 55 countries.

Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Asemi, Deputy Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led his country's delegation to the forum.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Dr. Khalid Abdul-Ghaffar, Egypt's Minister of Higher Education, said the forum aims to face the new technological challenges, achieve quality inside educational institutions, study the impact of the fourth industrial revolution on labor market and draft a national strategy for artificial intelligence.
