The President of the Council of Ministers Saad Hariri held talks this afternoon with the Bulgarian President Rumen Radev about the developments in Lebanon and the region and the bilateral relations.
Radev arrived at six pm to the Grand Serail where he was greeted by Prime Minister Hariri and inspected with him the government guards.
They held talks in the presence of the bulgarian delegation and Hariri's advisor Ghattas Khoury.
Hariri also met with the Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Lebanon Christoph Martin.
After the meeting, Martin said: I congratulated the Prime Minister for the work he has been doing with his team since the cabinet has been formed. I am looking forward to further the collaboration with the Prime Minister's office. We talked about the missing persons file because we know it is a file dear to the heart of the Prime Minister. We said that now the law on the missing persons had passed in the parliament session last year and now what is at stake is the creation of the national commission for the missing people and he reaffirmed his strong commitment to support in all means of speeding up the process of the nomination of the national commission.
He also received the chairman of the Rafic Hariri University Hospital Dr. Firas Abiad and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Beirut (AUB) Dr. Mohamed Sayegh, in the presence of Ghattas Khoury. Discussions focused on the management of the Rafic Hariri University Hospital and the cooperation with AUB.
