State Minister for Foreign Trade Affairs, Hassan Mrad, met at his office Tuesday with Bulgarian Economy Minister, Alexander Manolev, with whom he discussed the practical procedures to develop the economic and commercial ties between the two countries.
Speaking to reporters following the meeting, Manolev indicated that both sides agreed to improve the bilateral economic cooperation, stressing that his country believes in the presence of opportunities to bolster trade with Lebanon.
"We will work on the preparation of major economic and commercial projects in the region with the collaboration of Lebanon," he said.
Manolev also extolled the role played by the Lebanese Diaspora in Bulgaria.
