The Lebanese Television's Administration issued a statement on Friday confirming "the regularity of professional and administrative work at the Station", and explained that "Information Minister Jamal Jarrah is keen on upgrading and advancing the Television to take its full role within the process of the country's rise."
"Minister Jarrah has focused in several meetings on the interests of staff within the interval phase of appointing a board of directors," the statement affirmed, stressing the Information Minister's keenness that "Tele-Liban should remain for all of Lebanon," and enjoy "a revamped and rich program cycle.
"It has been noticed recently that some have been plotting a campaign to block the work of the Information Minister, the statement went on, and it is important to refute the rumors that certain media and websites are spreading about a doctrinal or sectarian atmosphere that does not exist whatsoever!
"We stress that no new formations have been introduced in any department, and that the management of Tele-Liban emphasizes the regular flow of work at the Station, while renewing its confidence in the Minister of Information's embrace of the Television and declares its pursued efforts in the service of all the Lebanese, whether residing in the country or abroad.
