Minister of Economy and Trade Mansour Bteish, received in his office this afternoon visiting Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, accompanied by Hungarian Ambassador, Geza Mehali.
The meeting took place in the presence of the Ministry's Director General, Alia Abbas.
Talks reportedly touched on means of bolstering the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Hungary, especially in the economic, touristic and cultural domains.
An array of economic, tourism and cultural matters and the possibility of opening air routes between Beirut and Budapest featured high on their talks.
Both sides agreed on a meeting of the Joint Economic Committee to be taking place as soon as possible to draw up a joint work plan to activate the trade and investment exchange between the two countries.
