Public Works and Transport Minister Youssef Fenianos received this Tuesday at his office in the Ministry British Ambassador to Lebanon, Chris Rampling, accompanied by a UK economic delegation and Head oF Embassy's Trade and Investment Paul Khawaja.
Discussions reportedly touched on the bilateral economic relations between the two countries, especially in the field of transport.
On the other hand, Minister Fenianos met with a Chinese economic delegation, with the development of the public transport sector and railways featuring high on their talks.
The delegation expressed willingness to participate in the development of infrastructure related to public transport facilities, in general, including the revival of the railway plan and the regulation of ports at all levels.
"Lebanon is ahead of an important phase in the development of infrastructure related to a standardized public transport sector to meet the needs of citizens through the development of an integrated, well-structured network," he said. .
