Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Parliamentary Committee, headed by MP YassineJaber, on Thursday held a meeting at the Parliament with Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Wang Kijian, with talks reportedly touching on means of bolstering bilateral Lebanese-Chinese relations.
Speaking on emerging, MP Jaber said that they discussed with Ambassador Kijian the Lebanese-Chinese relations at the political and economic levels.
Jaber said that Ambassador Kijian expressed the Chinese companies' willingness to participate in Lebanon's infrastructure building process and economic revitalization once conducive conditions are set.
Ambassador Kijian, in turn, said that they discussed the bilateral Chinese-Lebanese relations and means of bolstering cooperation between the two countries.
Kijian said his country supports Lebanon's political stability and its sovereignty, relaying China's readiness to participate in Lebanon's economic revitalization and advancement through the participation of Chinese companies in the infrastructure development projects.
