Former Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, currently in Saudi Arabia, relayed Saudi Monarch's keenness on preserving Lebanon.
"Our concern is to rescue the country in light of the difficulties we are passing through," stressing the paramount importance of cementing national unity.
Mikati was speaking during a press conference in Jeddah, where he spoke about the outcome of his meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, along with former Prime Ministers Tammam Salam and Fouad Siniora, and their meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister DR. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Assaf.
"Saudi Arabia shall extend a helping hand to Lebanon... Our visit today and our meeting with the Saudi Monarch have confirmed that the kingdom is concerned about Lebanon in all its components," Mikati maintained.
