Army receives Dutch donation

The Lebanese Logistic brigade received on Wednesday 15 DAF trucks, donated by the Dutch authorities, in a delivery ceremony held Wednesday at Beirut Port, in the presence of Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment, Brig. Gen. Ziad Nasr, representing Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, and Dutch Ambassador to Lebanon, Jan Waltmans.

The delivery ceremony was also attended by Dutch Military Attache Lt. Col. Johan Carel Gerritsen, and a number of army officers.

In his delivered word on the occasion, Ambassador Waltmans highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Lebanese and Dutch armies, voicing his country's commitment to continuing the provision of military aid to the Lebanese army.
