Large crowds of the Lebanese community in Sydney staged a demonstration along Martin Place Street in downtown Sydney, raising Lebanese flags and slogans of solidarity with their fellow Lebanese people of all sects, NNA correspondent reported on Sunday.
More than 5,000 members of the Lebanese community of all ages took part in the demonstration, mostly of the young Lebanese born in Australia, including a large number of students from the University of Sydney.
"The people want to topple the regime," demonstrators said, accusing Lebanese politicians of robbing the country.
