Rome, Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah has met here on Thursday, with members of Italy's Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, in a closed session entitled: "Supporting the Yemeni People".
The session started with a briefing on the political, geographical and humanitarian situation in Yemen. Then, Dr. Al-Rabeeah briefed the audience on the historical situation, in Yemen, and the strong relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen, reaffirming the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness to support all initiatives aimed, at reaching peaceful solutions.
On the humanitarian side, he said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided Yemen with more than $16 billion, in the humanitarian, relief and development fields.
For their part, the members of the Italian Parliament pointed out the importance of the humanitarian work, in Yemen, expressing appreciation of the Kingdom for the humanitarian efforts exerted there, especially by the KSrelief, to support the Yemeni people.
