Riyadh, A joint statement was issued today between Saudi Arabia and India as follows:
At the invitation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia on 1/3/1441 AH. corresponding to 29/1/2019 G.
The two sides held talks during which they reviewed the close historical bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and peoples, and exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest, noting the friendship and partnership relations that reflect the economic, social, cultural and civilizational ties between the two peoples and the great common opportunities that provide a strong momentum for the development of relations between the two friendly countries.
The two sides reaffirmed their deep commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership emanating from the Riyadh Declaration for the month of Rabi I 1441 HA./March 2010, February 2010, which was reaffirmed during the visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to India in the month of Rabi II 1435 AH. / February 2014 and the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jumada II 1437 AH / April 2016, and the visit of His Royal Highness Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to New Delhi in Jumada II 1440 AH. / February 2019 G.
