Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, on Friday said that the new government should be formed as soon as possible and must listen to the demands of the people.
Sayyed Nasrallah's words came in his televised speech during the memorial ceremony for the late Sayyed Jaafar Murtada, held at the Mujtaba complex - Hadath.
On the recent nationwide popular movements, Nasrallah said thanks to the Lebanese people's awareness and patience who managed in the past two weeks to foil schemes by some to push the country towards internal confrontation, infighting and chaos.
"The elements of pushing towards chaos and internal fighting were strongly present," Nasrallah said, saying the unprecedented level of offenses and cursing in the past two weeks was "not spontaneous" but "directed."
Nasrallah said that the level of insults in the past two weeks was unprecedented in the history of Lebanon aimed at provoking the other street and thus descend the country into internal fighting.
"It was evident that a political coup was being plotted." Nasrallah said, saying thanks to the Lebanese people's awareness, discipline and insight that have foiled all plots for chaos.
Nasrallah said Hezbollah appreciates all those who want to continue with their popular movement, yet they have to purify their podiums from those attempting to exploit their movement.
