Saudi Arabia and Kuwait Delegations Deliver Copy of Agreement and MoU on Dividing Neutral Zone Between Countries to UN

New York, Delegations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to the United Nations delivered here yesterday a copy of agreement on dividing the Neutral Zone to the United Nations, which was signed by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy from Saudi side and Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs from Kuwaiti side.

The two delegations delivered a copy of joint memorandum of understanding (MoU), which also was signed by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy from Saudi side and Dr. Khaled Ali Mohammad Al-Fadil, Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water from Kuwait side in Kuwait City on December 24, 2019, which came into effect on February 3, 2020.

This step comes in the interest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to enhance bilateral relations in a manner that achieves common interests between the two countries and come in line with consistent with the principles of the United Nations Charter and the principles of international law.
