Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Wednesday announced through its Operations Center Unit and the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut, that it was actively monitoring the situation of the Jordanian community in the Republic of Lebanon in the wake of Beirut Port’s blast.
“The information received from our embassy in Beirut indicates that all Jordanian nationals are safe with the exception of some injured citizens, who have been admitted to the hospital for the necessary treatment; the embassy is following up on their health conditions and is also communicating with their families to reassure them,” a statement by Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said.
In cases of emergency, the Jordanian embassy has called on Jordanian citizens to communicate with the embassy, or the Ministry’s Operations Center Unit, on the following numbers:
