Health Ministry: Critical Cases under 1,000, 626 New Recoveries Reported, in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced in a statement here today that 419 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 335,997 cases, including 10,173 active cases undergoing treatment. Of these, there are 954 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable. It added that 27 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 4,850. Meanwhile, as many as 626 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 320,974. On the other hand, 46,019 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour.   Source: Saudi Press Agency

Syria regrets clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan, warns against Turkey’s blatant interference

Damascus, Syria has expressed its regret over the clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and called the two neighboring countries to put an end to the current escalation and find a peaceful settlement. “The Syrian Arab Republic deeply regrets the clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan that left victims from both sides and offers condolences to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded,” an official source at Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement Saturday. Abundant grape production in Syria’s southern province of Sweida
