KSrelief Conducts 15 Surgeries on Fourth Day of Voluntary Medical Campaign for Urology and Pediatric Surgery in Mukalla, Yemen

Mukalla, Yemen, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched its first voluntary medical campaign for Yemeni children in urology and general pediatric fields in Mukalla, Yemen. During the fourth day of the campaign, KSrelief medical team conducted 15 surgeries, including seven urological and eight general surgeries, benefiting low-income families. Also, 31 individuals visited the family medicine clinic for the specialized surgery program. The campaign comes as an extension of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of the needy in Yemen due to the current humanitarian crisis.   Source: Saudi Press Agency

OIC Hails US Plan to designate Houthi as FTO

Jeddah, The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed the United States of America's decision to blacklist the Houthi rebels in Yemen as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, the OIC's Secretary-General, asserted that this decision would contribute positively to the efforts of Martin Griffiths, the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis and put an end to the terrorist attacks committed by the Houthis in Yemen and against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
