Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today gained (17.3) points, comprising a rise by (0.37%) to close at (4713.92) points, compared to the last session, which stood at (4696.61) points.The trading value today stood at (RO 1,411,269), comprising a drop by (21.2%), compared to the last session, which stood at (RO 1,790,483).The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went up by (0.578%) to reach about (RO 23.78) billion.The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached (RO 284,000), comprising (20.12%). The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached (RO 242,000), comprising (17.15%). The net non-Omani investment increased by (2.97%) to (RO 42,000).Source: Oman News Agency

Al Ribat Initiative to Benefit 306 Pilgrims from Social Security Segment

The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs today launched "Al Ribat" initiative, which provides financial support worth RO 120,000 in favour of 306 pilgrims and Umrah performers from the Social Security segment.The financial aid benefits those registered in the records of the Ministry of Social Development for the Hajj season 1444 AH in accordance with approved eligibility criteria.
