Oil prices decline with the rise of the dollar

Oil prices fell for the second day in a row with the rise of the dollar amid political uncertainty in the United States. Brent crude futures fell 55 cents, or 0.7 %, to $84.48 per barrel, after closing 37 cents lower last Friday. The price of US West Texas Intermediate crude reached $81.65 per barrel, down 56 cents, or 0.7 %.
