Islamic Resistance issued the following: "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their valiant and noble resistance, as well as in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the barbaric "Israeli" incursions into towns, villages, and against civilians, "Israeli" enemy soldiers renewed their attempt to advance toward the vicinity of the municipality in the town of Odaisseh at 1:50 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Ombuds Office signs MoU with Azerbaijan counterpart

Baku, A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Bahrain's Ombuds Office and Azerbaijan's Human Rights Commission. The MoU was signed by Ghada Hameed Habib, the Secretary-General, and Sabina Aliyeva. The MoU aims to enhance professional cooperation through exchange of expertise, capacity building, workshops, training programmes, and addressing complaints from each country's nationals according to the remit of each institution. It also seeks to strengthen joint coordination in international and regional forums that include ombuds institutions worldwide. Moon-Venus Conjunction to Be Seen in the Arab Skies Tonight

A spectacular celestial event will take place in the skies over the Arab world tonight, as the moon and Venus are in conjunction, separated by just three degrees. The alignment, visible to the naked eye, marks the beginning of the moon's monthly journey past the bright planets. Head of the Jeddah Astronomy Society, Eng. Majed Abu Zahra, said that the crescent moon and Venus will appear together shortly after sunset, before the sky darkens fully. As the second and third brightest objects in the night sky, after the sun, they will present a striking view. A faint glow, caused by sunlight reflecting off Earth (known as Earthshine), will softly illuminate the unlit part of the moon's disk. KSrelief Distributes Bread to Refugee Families in Lebanon

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues to implement Al-Amal Charitable Bakery Project in Akkar Governorate and Miniyeh District in Lebanon. Last week, KSrelief distributed daily 25,000 bundles of bread to families in need, consisting of Syrian and Palestinian refugee families and the host community in northern Lebanon, benefiting 125,000 individuals. Over 130 Bahraini teachers promoted following HRH Crown Prince, Prime Minister directives
